Allen Philip is based in New York City and specializes in high end residential projects.  The studio approaches each project with a strong knowledge of architectural history which serves as a basis to create something new.  Through a rigorous design process, we create homes that feel modern, but timeless. Working closely with clients, we define clear goals for each project establishing a foundation that ensures we design an end result that goes beyond simply fulfilling our client’s needs. 

Allen first started his career in residential architecture working at Robert A.M. Stern Architects where he rose to an associate.  There, Allen worked on traditional homes and apartments in New York, The Hamptons, Chicago, Michigan and Los Angeles. Following his time at RAMSA, Allen worked for Sawyer|Berson where he applied his design strengths to more modern work.  Allen received both his B.A. and Master of Architecture degrees from Columbia University.
